Cost Accountant at Anord Mardix

Reporting to the Senior Cost Accountant, this role will be part of an excellent team, whose members are strong communicators, ambitious and innovative.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring all material, labour and expense costs are accurately reflected in the project costing system.
- Tracking progress of project activities to enable appropriate project financial performance including risk analysis.
- Assist in the management of the project data to ensure accurate reporting and system integrity.
- Preparing for monthly financial information by investigating variances and analysis for projects to explain actual financial performance against budget.
- Tracking intercompany transactions and assist with cost and revenue reporting.
- Collaborate with supply chain, commercial and operations teams to further understand projects.
- Assist with month/quarter end activities, as required.
- Assist and support in SOX compliance and internal and external audits.
- Ad hoc projects as required.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree.
- Some years of related work experience, ideally in a technical/manufacturing environment.
- Good MS Office skills.
- Working to deadlines with good attention to detail.
- Good communication and organisational skills are essential.
- Ability to manage day‑to‑day work while also being part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Confident under pressure and able to handle multifaceted objectives.
- Excellent work ethic with confidentiality at the core.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
