With facilities around the globe, Anord Mardix leads in critical power infrastructure, supporting a myriad of industries, from financial institutions to data centers. To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to add a new Mechanical Supervisor based out of Hemel Hempstead centre but most days will be on sites.
Reporting to the local Site Service Manager, this is a UK-based role with significant international travel, including extended assignments across Europe.
- Overseeing and supervising all maintenance and installation works, including equipment dispatched to site
- Supervising and coordinating employees and contractors on site
- Interconnecting LV switchgear
- Monitoring project progress and providing status reports
- Completing certificates and documentation for client handover and testing
- Ensuring works are delivered efficiently while maintaining quality, safety, and environmental standards
- Implementing and promoting effective risk management practices
- Conducting site risk assessments and maintaining accurate records
- Verifying workforce competence and appropriate training for tasks
- Monitoring site activities and intervening promptly to address issues or unsafe practices
- Promoting site safety, welfare, fire prevention, and reporting incidents/near misses to the Project Manager
Requirements:
- A current SSSTS & UKATA Asbestos Awareness Certificate
- A valid Manual Handling Awareness Certificate
- Experience in Mechanical installation of Switchgear and in a supervisor role
- Full UK driving license
