We are looking for a new Senior Facilities Coordinator to be based in Blackburn. The role involves:

  • Creating a method for monitoring the progress of the company’s programmes and improving efficiency.
  • Supporting Capex Investment forecasting and review.
  • Preparing reports and updating Flex Facilities Directors, Flex Facilities Manager, and other collaborators about the programme.
  • Carrying out other Facilities management duties when and where necessary.
  • Ensuring Supplier Selection process follows global AVL for Standard production equipment.
  • Validating Paybacks where applicable (e.g., Custom Automation projects).
  • Ensuring local price proposals are aligned to Global Supply Agreement/local price standards.

The ideal candidate must be able to interpret business goals and translate them into a coordinated portfolio of projects that collectively deliver value. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, often acting as a bridge between executives, delivery teams, and third-party landlords and contractors.

Strong leadership and negotiation skills are required for managing multiple projects dealing with conflicting priorities, limited resources, and evolving scopes. Financial analytical capabilities are essential for assessing risk and evaluating whether benefits have been achieved. The candidate must use data to guide decisions and demonstrate progress.

Qualifications include:

  • Level 3 Certificate or Diploma in Facilities Management or Project Management.
  • Experience of working as a facilities/project manager/senior Facilities coordinator or similar, up to 12 months.
  • Must hold a national B Driving License.
  • Must be highly self-motivated, controlling own work and working with all internal staff and external suppliers and contractors.
  • Computer proficiency and experience using different MS software.
  • Knowledge of structured methodologies such as APM, PRINCE2, or PRINCE2 Agile or similar.
