Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to add a Buyer located in Kendal, England. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Buyer role will be part of an excellent design team, whose members are strong communicators, ambitious & innovative.
- Checking the inventory of critical materials (personally if needed) according to the Shortage List.
- Maintains procurement records such as items purchased, costs, delivery and inventories.
- Manages supplier to price, delivery and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate.
- Maintains procurement records, reports and metrics.
- Typically requires a minimum of 1 to 2 years of procurement experience.
- Working usage of Word, Excel and Power Point, English language knowledge, data entry, ten-key, spreadsheet (PC), ERP software.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
