To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, were looking to add an experienced Global Product Line Director Busway, to take full ownership of the Busway Product lines, based in the UK OR Ireland.

The Global Product Line Director Busway will play a pivotal role in expanding the Busway and Busbar product portfolio, securing market share leadership through both organic and inorganic growth, and fostering a culture of excellence. The leader will bring expertise in P&L management, Customer relationships, Market and pricing strategy, Operational excellence, Research & development and sustainability and compliance.

This position will lead a team of subject matter experts (SMEs) who drive thought leadership across the product line and collaborate with other Flex business units to position Flex as a market leader.

This is a remote opportunity and can be based in the UK or Ireland.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability

  • Implement succession planning to ensure a strong talent pipeline and career growth opportunities

  • Attract and retain top industry talent

  • Oversee product line P&L to meet financial targets and maximize profitability

  • Analyse financial performance and implement strategies to enhance margin and Return on Sales (ROS)

  • Develop and execute a product line strategy aligned with overall business objectives

  • Drive portfolio expansion through new product introductions (NPI) and market entry strategies

  • Lead M&A initiatives to strengthen market position, including due diligence and integration planning

  • Oversee R&D focused on vitality and market leadership

  • Establish the company as a market SME by monitoring market trends and competitive landscape

  • Drive strategies that grow market share and customer engagement across the product line and within Flex

  • Ensure compliance with NEMA/IEC standards for products and customer mix

  • Implement best practices for sustainability and ESG strategies

  • Manage ramps, transfers, and operational projects for efficiency and strategic alignment.

  • Drive regionalization strategies to optimize market reach and customer satisfaction

  • Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence across the organisation

The experience were looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or related field; MBA mindset preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in product line management, business development, or related roles

  • Proven knowledge and experience in working with Busway products

  • Proven track record in P&L management and strategic planning

  • Strong knowledge of market dynamics, M&A processes, and industry standards (NEMA/IEC)

  • Experience in sustainability and ESG strategies

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Hyperscale and Colocation market knowledge preferred

  • Willingness to travel globally
