To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to add a Head of Electrical Safety (Authorised Person), located in Kendal OR Blackburn, UK.
Reporting to the Global EHS Director, the Head of Electrical Safety will be part of an excellent Global EHS team with the responsibility for providing the organisation with the legally required level of electrical competence to ensure electrical safety, compliance, investigation capability and technical governance across all operations.
You will act as the formally appointed Electrical Authorised Person, responsible for ensuring the safe operation, isolation, and control of electrical systems across Critical Power, and for maintaining full compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations (EAWR 1989) and internal Electrical Safety Rules.
This role is safety critical with direct accountability for electrical risk control, permit to work authorisation and safe system of work implementation.
