Job Ref: Description Service Manager Location: Watford, Hertfordshire Salary: 55,000 – 65,000 per annum, depending on experience Benefits: Company car or car allowance, bonus, healthcare, pension, 31 days’ holiday The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and rapidly growing HVAC contractor based in Watford. Following a highly successful year, the business has secured a number of exciting new contracts and is continuing to expand its operations. The company has ambitious plans to significantly increase its turnover over the next five years, making this an exciting time to join the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting this growth, with genuine opportunities to develop and progress within the organisation. The Role As Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the service and maintenance operation across London and the M25, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, service delivery and engineer productivity. You will manage a team of mobile HVAC engineers, ensuring contracts are delivered efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with both clients and engineers. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee day-to-day service and maintenance operations across London and the M25 Lead, support and develop a team of mobile HVAC engineers Ensure high standards of service delivery, productivity and customer satisfaction Maintain and develop strong client relationships Oversee service and maintenance contracts, including commercial negotiations Monitor performance and ensure contractual targets and KPIs are achieved Support the continued growth and development of the service division About You The ideal candidate will have: A strong technical background within HVAC, air conditioning or refrigeration Experience managing engineers or technical teams Strong client-facing and customer service skills Excellent leadership and communication abilities Experience managing service and maintenance contracts The ability to manage a busy operation while maintaining high service standards What's on Offer In return, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of 55,000–65,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package and, importantly, the opportunity to join a business that is entering an exciting period of growth.
