We are seeking an experienced high yield and leveraged loan credit analyst to join our High Yield and Distressed Sales & Trading desk. This role offers a unique opportunity to underwrite and cover some of the most exciting names in the European high yield, leveraged loan, and distressed markets. The successful candidate will work closely with traders and sales to generate actionable investment ideas and support the desk's engagement with institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth fundamental credit research and legal documentation reviews on high yield and leveraged loan issuers across industries and regions.
- Collaborate with traders and fellow desk analysts to identify, analyse, and pitch opportunities across the capital structure (bonds, loans, restructured equities, and bankruptcy claims).
- Deliver real-time investment views to sales and institutional clients, with clear and concise communication.
- Maintain sector coverage, providing timely updates on earnings, rating agency actions, M&A, restructurings, and other credit events.
- Monitor and adjust investment considerations throughout the entire trade life cycle.
- 4 - 8 years of experience in high yield, leveraged loan, and/or distressed credit research (sell-side or buy-side).
- Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate credit analysis, and legal documentation.
- Advanced financial modelling skills, including cash flow forecasting and capital structure analysis.
- Ability to assess credits from both fundamental and relative value perspectives.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present concise, actionable views under time pressure.
- Highly motivated, with a team-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail.
