Boutique firm. This is a new opportunity with a London based compliance consultancy in build-out mode. The role will be broad and hands-on, offering exposure to a range of client engagements and the opportunity to work closely with senior team members on delivery, analysis, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting delivery of client projects across regulatory, compliance, and operational change initiatives.
  • Conducting research, analysis, and documentation to support client engagements.
  • Drafting client-ready materials, reports, and presentations.
  • Assisting with the identification and resolution of regulatory or compliance-related issues.
  • Supporting senior colleagues in managing client relationships and project milestones.
  • Keeping up to date with relevant regulatory developments affecting financial services firms.
  • Contributing to internal process improvement, knowledge sharing, and development of firm capabilities.

Technical Competencies

  • Good understanding of the UK financial services regulatory environment essential.
  • Familiarity with FCA Handbook concepts and regulatory expectations essential.
  • Exposure to areas such as MiFID II, Market Abuse, or MLRs is highly beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong written and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear outputs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
