About the Role We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to join our team.
This role is integral to the smooth operation of our sales process, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, deliveries are coordinated efficiently, and customer accounts are managed effectively.
Working closely with the Sales, Finance, Logistics and Warehouse teams, you will manage the complete order lifecycle while providing exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities Raise and process new sales orders in Oracle, ensuring customer information, pricing, documentation and order details are accurate.
Post customer cash receipts in Oracle and allocate payments correctly to customer accounts.
Monitor customer accounts and proactively follow up outstanding payments once goods have been confirmed for delivery.
Coordinate with customers, Sales, Logistics and Warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries and resolve delivery-related issues.
Manage the complete sales order process from order creation through to completion, including closing sales orders and posting final cash receipts.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries regarding orders, deliveries, invoices, payments and product availability.
Raise packing slips and process inventory movements to maintain accurate stock records.
Work closely with the Finance team to resolve account queries, reconcile customer balances and maintain accurate financial records.
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales team to ensure efficient order processing and outstanding customer service.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and support the implementation of enhanced operational and financial controls.
About You The ideal candidate will be an organised and proactive professional with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Skills and Experience Previous experience in a sales administration, sales coordination or customer service role.
Experience using ERP systems, ideally Oracle.
Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Strong numerical skills and the ability to reconcile customer accounts accurately.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
A proactive approach to improving processes and delivering excellent customer service.
