About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and energetic team member with a strong background in restaurant and hospitality recruitment. This role is primarily focused on leading end-to-end recruitment operations (80%), while also supporting essential HR functions (20%) to help foster a positive and compliant workplace environment across our restaurant group.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment Focus (80%)
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for all restaurant positions, including front-of-house, kitchen, and management roles.
- Partner with restaurant managers to understand staffing needs and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Build robust talent pipelines for high-volume and seasonal hiring.
- Deliver a professional and engaging candidate experience aligned with our brand values.
- Prepare and issue employment contracts (full-time, part-time, zero-hours, fixed-term).
- Conduct right-to-work checks, gather references, and ensure compliance with all recruitment-related legislation.
- Create and manage recruitment campaigns during peak trading periods.
- Support and train hiring managers on interview techniques and recruitment best practices.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics, including hiring timelines and candidate feedback.
- Represent the company at job fairs and industry hiring events to boost employer brand visibility.
- Provide basic HR guidance to restaurant managers and staff on matters such as absence management and employment terms.
- Support with tracking absences (sickness, annual leave, parental leave) and helping managers maintain accurate staff records.
- Draft and store employment-related documents such as offer letters, policy updates, and other HR correspondence.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of HR policies and ensure consistent application across the business.
- Act as a point of contact for escalated HR queries from management or team members.
- Support operational needs during peak periods and adapt to shifting business priorities.
