A growing, globally active business is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of its end-to-end supply chain within a fast-paced SME environment.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead global supply chain operations covering Far East manufacturing, international distribution, UK and EU 3PL partners and Direct-to-Consumer fulfilment. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Far East suppliers, procurement, contracts and performance (cost, quality, delivery)
- Lead 3PL relationships, logistics strategy and commercial negotiations
- Oversee UK distribution and DTC fulfilment solutions
- Own inventory control, demand forecasting and stock optimisation
- Develop and deliver a global supply chain strategy aligned to growth goals
- Identify and mitigate operational, logistical and supply chain risk
- Lead and develop a small supply chain and logistics team
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Experience managing global supply chains and B2B distribution
- Strong commercial and numerical capability
- Hands-on, organised and delivery focused
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for music and a desire to work in a creative, product-led business
DESIRABLE
- Far East sourcing or manufacturing experience
- 3PL contract negotiation and management experience
- ERP / SCM system exposure
- Supply Chain or Logistics qualifications
