We are working with a growing consumer finance and debt management platform who are currently expanding their Unsecured NPL Portfolio Investment team.
Mission
Support the full underwriting lifecycle of unsecured NPL portfolio acquisitions across European jurisdictions—from screening and underwriting through IC approval, SPA negotiation, closing, onboarding, and post‑acquisition performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage teasers and NDAs; capture deal data (seller, asset class, GBV, legal stage mix, timelines, process rules).
- Appraise and develop forecasting models for a wide range of prospective unsecured.
- Develop financial models capturing all aspects of the NPL business plan for a portfolio.
- Participate in due diligence processes and management meetings with Sellers.
- Prepare investment committee recommendations with clear assumptions.
Candidate Profile
- 4-9 years experience in unsecured NPL underwriting with NPL investor such as a debt purchaser, Fund.
- Advanced Excel; PowerPoint; comfort with large data tapes.
- Excellent written communication in English.
- Self-starter, confidence to challenge third parties such as sellers, servicers and investment partners.
- Another EU language.
- Basic Python or Power Query for large data set analysis.
