Role Summary The HS2 TAR Process requires HS2 TAR team members to be Lead Auditors. The Technical Assurance Auditor is responsible for leading audit activities, ensuring compliance with ISO9001:2015, and driving continuous improvement of processes within railway and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Lead auditing activities and develop and improve processes. Act as liaison and coordinate between HS2 Ltd and contractors. Apply railway systems technical assurance principles: interface, configuration, assumptions & risk management, quality, environmental, health & safety, change control, BIM, consents, etc. Manage and implement quality, environmental, health & safety and assurance principles, systems, and frameworks on large scale infrastructural projects. Support multi‑discipline programmes (civils, M&E, architecture, rail systems, rolling stock). Develop and maintain AI support for the TAR Process, applying AI knowledge and competency. Always behave in a manner consistent with HS2 values of Safety, Leadership, Integrity and Respect. Actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all work and comply with organisational EDI initiatives, policies and procedures. Qualifications & Certifications Certification to ISO9001:2015 Quality, or equivalent ISO14001:2015 Environmental and ISO45001:2018 acceptable. Principal / Lead Auditor certified with IRCA.
