This is a new opportunity with a London based compliance consultancy in build-out mode. The role will be broad and hands-on, offering exposure to a range of client engagements and the opportunity to work closely with senior team members on delivery, analysis, and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting delivery of client projects across regulatory, compliance, and operational change initiatives
- Conducting research, analysis, and documentation to support client engagements
- Drafting client-ready materials, reports, and presentations
- Assisting with the identification and resolution of regulatory or compliance-related issues
- Supporting senior colleagues in managing client relationships and project milestones
- Keeping up to date with relevant regulatory developments affecting financial services firms
- Contributing to internal process improvement, knowledge sharing, and development of firm capabilities
Technical Competencies
- Good understanding of the UK financial services regulatory environment essential
- Familiarity with FCA Handbook concepts and regulatory expectations essential
- Exposure to areas such as MiFID II, Market Abuse, or MLRs is highly beneficial but not essential
- Strong written and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear outputs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience within financial services, professional services, or closely related environment
- Experience supporting regulatory, compliance, or change initiatives is desirable
- Relevant professional qualifications (or working towards them) are beneficial but not essential
