We are a growing, high-reliability electronics manufacturing business seeking an experienced Head of Quality to take full ownership of our Quality Assurance function. Based on site in Surrey and reporting to the Executive Chairman, you will lead quality across the entire organisation, driving continuous improvement, compliance and performance from design through to production, supply chain and after-sales. This is a hands-on senior role with real influence across Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation, Procurement, IT and Sales.
- You will lead Six Sigma and Lean improvement activity, define and drive KPIs, and reduce the cost of quality through robust quality control and supplier management.
- You will oversee SPC, first-time pass rates, reject analysis and corrective actions across manufacturing.
- You will manage and develop the Quality team, ensuring strong performance, training and H&S compliance.
- You will own the ISO9001 and ISO14001 management systems, host audits, lead 8D root cause analysis, PPAP approvals, customer audits, documentation control, change management and chair monthly Management Reviews.
- You will hold a BSc in Electronics Engineering with proven experience leading FMEA for new products.
- You will have strong hands-on Six Sigma experience and a background in electronics manufacturing within automotive or related sectors. Strong regulatory and quality standards knowledge is essential.
- You will be analytical, proactive and an effective communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally and leading through influence.
