We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to join a dynamic and expanding collective of pubs and hotels. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starting hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings an entrepreneurial mindset to venue leadership. As General Manager, you will take full ownership of your site, delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving commercial performance. You will be passionate about quality across all areas of the business, from beer and wine to food and cocktails, and confident in leading a team to consistently high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations with full accountability for performance, standards, and compliance
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming, memorable guest experience
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of professional, friendly, and engaged staff
  • Foster a positive, high-performing team culture with clear expectations and strong leadership
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge across beer, wine, food, and cocktails, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Drive sales and profitability through proactive business planning and local marketing initiatives
  • Conceptualise, develop, and implement events and activities to attract new and returning customers
  • Generate and execute sales and marketing initiatives to increase revenue and overall profitability

  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, health & safety, and food safety regulations

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leader within pubs, bars, or hospitality venues
  • A proactive, hands-on leader with the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong entrepreneurial thinking with the ability to adapt, improvise, and problem-solve
