Acute Care Nurse in Dublin

Acute Care Nurse | Dublin | Full Time | €19.50–€30.29 per hour Our client is recruiting for a qualified Acute Care Nurse to work in an acute care facility in Dublin. The Acute Care Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and complex health conditions in a fast-paced hospital environment. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualised care plans, and working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients with acute or critical illnesses Monitor, record and report changes in patients’ conditions and responses to treatment Safely administer medications, IV therapies and other prescribed treatments Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Operate and maintain medical equipment, including monitors, infusion pumps and ventilators Provide patients and their families with information regarding diagnoses, treatment and recovery Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and reports Adhere to infection control, safety and hospital policies and procedures Requirements Essential Qualified nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Valid NMBI registration (NMBI PIN) Desirable 1–2 years of acute care or hospital-based nursing experience Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in electronic health records and medical technology Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement What’s In It For You Competitive pay rates of €19.50–€30.29 per hour Flexible working hours Supportive and inclusive work environment What’s next?
