Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, employee relations and organisational development.
  • Lead and support change management activity, including harmonisation projects and acquisitions, ensuring new teams are integrated effectively and people processes remain aligned to organisational goals.
  • Support the onboarding of newly acquired businesses.
  • Drive talent management, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives, building a positive and high‑performing culture.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law and internal policies.
  • Use HR data and metrics to identify trends and provide insights that support continuous improvement and informed decision‑making.

Qualifications

  • At least five years’ experience as an HR Business Partner in a busy, change‑focused environment.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align HR activity with wider organisational objectives.
  • Hands‑on experience with M&A harmonisation and onboarding, including HR systems and payroll transitions.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Confidence working with HR systems and analytics.
  • Experience working within a multi‑site business is beneficial.
  • Professional HR qualification such as CIPD Level 5 or above is desirable.
