The role requires discipline, consistency and excellent people management skills. This is an opportunity for an aspiring sous chef or an experienced kitchen manager or head chef. You will take ownership of the kitchen working underneath an executive chef. • Remain composed, focused, and professional during busy service periods

Food Preparation & Service:

  • Produce dishes consistently to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and timing
  • Maintain organised workstations and rigorous preparation standards
  • Contribute ideas and support menu development alongside the Executive Chef
  • Ensure every dish served reflects the high standards that are required every day

Operational Excellence:

  • Assist in managing food costs through effective stock control and minimising waste
  • Support stock management procedures, including regular stock counts
  • Work closely with suppliers and assist with ordering processes under the guidance of the Executive Chef

Compliance & Standards:

  • Uphold all Food Safety, COSHH, and Health & Safety regulations without exception
  • Keep Alert65 records accurate, complete, and inspection-ready
  • Identify potential issues proactively and communicate concerns promptly

Culture:

  • Lead by example through reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
  • Develop existing and train new team members
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and high-performing kitchen environment
  • Work collaboratively with front-of-house teams to ensure an outstanding guest experience

Success is measured by:

  • Consistent delivery of high-quality food during service
  • Effective management of food costs and waste reduction
  • Strong audit performance and compliance standards
  • Positive contributions to team development and retention
  • The ability to transform everyday dining into a memorable experience

What's in it for you?

  • A competitive salary that reflects experience, performance, and ambition
  • The chance to influence and elevate the food offering within a premium entertainment destination
  • Pension scheme
  • 28 days holiday
  • Genuine responsibility and the opportunity to make an impact within a growing company
  • Clear opportunities for career progression as the business expands
