The role We’re looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join its growing team.
Reporting to the Office and Operations Manager, you will service, maintain and repair air conditioning systems across customer sites nationwide.
You will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults and complete repairs in line with manufacturer specifications.
You will also keep customers and the office informed throughout each job.
This is a varied field-based position where the quality of your work, response times and ability to resolve issues efficiently will be important.
Key Responsibilities Your duties will include
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems
- Completing planned and reactive maintenance visits
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
- Maintaining equipment in line with manufacturer requirements
- Working to achieve a strong first-time fix rate
- Providing a professional and helpful service to customers
- Keeping accurate job records and supporting documentation
- Communicating job progress and operational updates to the office
- Following company procedures and Health and Safety requirements

- FGAS certification
- An NVQ Level 2, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent air conditioning qualification
- Air conditioning service and maintenance experience
- Strong fault-finding and repair skills
- A full UK driving licence
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Accurate record-keeping skills
- A sound understanding of Health and Safety requirements Experience within HVAC, facilities management, engineering or building services would be helpful.
Knowledge of Job Logic, Atlas or similar systems would also be beneficial, along with PASMA, CSCS, IPAF, NVQ Level 3, manufacturer training, chiller, ventilation, mechanical or data centre experience.
