Our client, a highly respected manufacturer of advanced scientific equipment, is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join their growing production team.
Working within a precision engineering environment, you will be responsible for producing high quality TIG welds on a variety of aluminium and stainless steel components used in specialist scientific systems. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative company whose products are supplied to leading research organisations, universities and industrial customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- TIG welding of aluminium and stainless steel components
- Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Fabricating and assembling precision metalwork to a high standard
- Inspecting finished welds to ensure quality requirements are met
- Supporting manufacturing and assembly activities as required
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
- Collaborating with engineers, machinists and production staff
Requirements
- Proven TIG welding experience with aluminium and stainless steel
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
