ZPos is a fast-growing technology company serving the hospitality sector across the UK. We provide online ordering websites, software, EPoS, connectivity, marketing, and a wide range of supporting services to restaurants, takeaways, and other SMEs.
The Role
As the business has grown, so has the need for a senior leader to own and develop our sales function. We are now looking for a Commercial Sales Manager to create, lead, and scale our sales department, working closely with the directors and taking responsibility for sales strategy, performance, and growth. Our core client base is hospitality businesses, particularly restaurants and takeaways, and this role will support and guide sales activity within that market while building a team and structure around it.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and own the overall sales strategy for the business
- Build and lead the sales department, including recruitment and team development
- Manage and coach sales staff through clear objectives, targets, and performance reviews
- Define and implement structured sales processes and pipelines
- Set and monitor realistic but ambitious sales targets and KPIs
- Support sales activity with key or complex hospitality clients when needed
- Ensure consistent follow-up, forecasting, and reporting across the sales team
- Work closely with marketing, projects, and support to align sales with delivery
- Improve revenue per client through structured upselling
