We are looking for a hands-on Head of People to build and lead the people function for a growing independent hospitality group. This is not a desk-based, policy-only HR role. You will spend time in the venues, work directly with GMs and senior leaders, and create practical systems, standards and support that help people perform, develop and stay. As the group's first dedicated people leader, you will own the people agenda from recruitment and employee relations through to development, culture and retention. You will have the freedom to shape the function from the ground up, with the opportunity for the role to develop into People Director as the business grows. What you will own Set clear, consistent recruitment standards across venue and support roles, while keeping hiring managers accountable for their own hires. Work with GMs and senior leaders to plan vacancies, future team structures and talent pipelines before gaps become urgent.
