Position Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst who is passionate about turning data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. As a Data Analyst at Anomali, you will be responsible for analyzing large data sets to identify trends, develop charts, and create visual presentations to help the company make strategic decisions.
- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify meaningful patterns, trends, and relationships.
- Lead complex data analysis projects, develop machine learning models, and provide strategic recommendations that drive business decisions.
- Design, develop and implement advanced analytics frameworks, data collection systems, and reporting infrastructure across the organization.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts, establish analytical best practices, and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Develop automated data pipelines and workflows to improve efficiency and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Work closely with management and diverse stakeholders to prioritize business and information needs, as well as identify opportunities for growth, optimization and risk mitigation.
- Define and lead new process improvement opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver actionable insights through comprehensive analysis.
- Communicate analysis and findings to stakeholders through clear and engaging reports and visualizations.
Qualifications Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field.
- 3+ years of proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of and advanced proficiency with SQL, reporting and visualization platforms (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker), databases and querying (SQL, etc.), and programming (Python, R, etc.).
- Knowledge of and proficiency with statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
- Deep expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, data mining, and working with large, complex datasets.
- Experience with ETL processes, data governance, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
This is a hybrid position working onsite at our Belfast office. This position is not remote. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. The successful candidate must be able to work freely at our Belfast location. Any cybersecurity knowledge is a plus.
