Cabling Engineer / Structured Cabling / Senior & Juniors
Yearly salary: £24,000 – £38,000 (depending on level) plus an additional £4,000 per year for travel time.
Location: Warrington, Cheshire with UK‑wide travel.
We have senior and junior cabling engineering roles available.
Responsibilities
- Structured cabling installations: Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, telephony and fibre optics.
- Assume lead role on multi‑personnel installations if required.
- Prepare and understand site‑specific risk assessments as required.
- Complete all project‑related engineer’s documentation as required.
- Act as point of contact and liaison with customers during installation when leading.
Essential skills / Qualifications (Junior)
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of structured network cabling and installation.
- Flexibility of working hours and travelling is key.
- Full and valid UK driving licence.
- Desirable: Aim2Learn Certification.
- Desirable: City & Guilds Fibre Optic Cabling in an Internal Environment or equivalent.
- Desirable: City & Guilds Fibre Optic Cabling in an External Environment or equivalent.
- Desirable: City & Guilds Copper Cabling in an Internal Environment or equivalent.
