The predicted salary is between 22.5 - 22.5 £ per hour.
The Successful Candidate will:
- Ensure adherence to the NMC code of conduct in all areas of care & practice.
- Ensure the well-being of all residents in maintaining the Six broad values of Privacy, Dignity, Independence, Choice, Rights, and Fulfilment.
- Liaise with the resident’s family, friends, GP, Community Nurses, specialists, pharmacists, local authorities, local councils, voluntary bodies and any other associations related to the care for the residents.
- Take the lead in nursing, ensuring that the nursing and personal care of residents is maintained on a daily basis and in accordance with the individuals’ needs, capabilities and requirements.
- Liaise with Home Manager and/or Deputy Manager and other senior members of the management team on any issues that might arise.
- Actively promote and encourage as much personal independence and choice as possible in the resident’s daily living and activities undertaken within the home.
- Take part in any associated training activities in order to ascertain the skills and knowledge to carry out your role in an effective and safe manner.
- Ensure that as much of a stimulating and attractive environment as possible is provided for the residents.

Essential Criteria:
- Registered Nurse Qualification.
- Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development linked to demonstrate clinical competencies.
- 6 months post registration.
- Experience of coordinating and managing residents' care.
- Previous experience of working with residents suffering from dementia.
- Experience of handling clinical incidents and complaints.
- Supervision and managerial experience.
- Good knowledge of Health and Social Care Act 2008.
- Undertake the duties of the job in accordance with relevant legislative requirements.
- Understanding of professional and current issues in care for the residents.
- Handling clinical incidents and complaints.

- Able to motivate and develop a team of staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and manage a workload.
