We are recruiting for a Personal Activities Leader to join our Care Home. The main purpose of the job is to initiate an on-going programme of leisure and recreational activities of a consistently high standard for Ann\’s Care Homes residents.

Responsibilities

  • Produce an ongoing programme of events (in-house entertainment, outings and group activities) which are both mentally and physically stimulating and of interest to people who use ACH services.
  • Create a programme that commits to the therapeutic value of age appropriate activities for older people.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Eligibility to work in UK.
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Experience within a care home setting, is preferred but not essential.
  • NVQ level 2 or 3 desirable but not essential.

Location: Culmore Manor.Work Time: Day duty: 8am-8pm, night duty: 8pm-8am, shifts to be confirmed.We reserve the right to enhance the criteria at shortlisting stage.
