The post holder will maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry causing minimal disruption to our services users and their care.
Responsibilities
- Use a variety of cleaning products paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products.
- Be Health and Safety aware to ensure the safety of our services users and colleagues.
- Working efficiently with the multidisciplinary team to approach patient care.
- Participation in ward meetings.
- Adhere to infection control policies and maintain ward cleanliness.
- Maintain and develop good professional relationships with residents, colleagues and visitors.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to work with the elderly.
- Basic IT skills.
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Eligibility to work in UK.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
