Overview
Care Assistant – Full and Part Time positions in the Carrickfergus area. Ann’s Home Care is a family run company established 25 years ago as a domiciliary care agency. The company is known for quality care, staff retention and putting clients and staff at the heart of what they do. We aspire to be the best at what we do and want families and carers to choose Ann’s because of our reputation for high quality service.
We have full and part time opportunities to join our community team in Carrickfergus. Full driving licence and access to a car are essential. We offer extremely competitive rates of pay and guaranteed full time hours.
Responsibilities
- Assisting and enabling clients
- Washing and dressing
- Providing food and refreshment
- Mobility assistance
- Bed making
- Providing activities to stimulate and engage the client
- Companionship and care
- Administering medication
- Contributing to accurate record keeping
Key Requirements
- Have 2 suitable references
- Be caring and friendly
- Have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Have a good standard of verbal and written English (or be prepared to further English skills)
