Overview

Care Assistant – Night sits role at Ann\’s Home Care Ireland. We are recruiting night sitters to join our Home Care Team. We require candidates to commit to two night sits per week. Opportunities across the Southern and Northern Trust.

Please note: Applicants must be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK. If you are an international candidate relocating to Northern Ireland, please use the international recruitment form as directed.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting and enabling clients with daily activities
  • Washing and dressing clients as needed
  • Providing meals and refreshments
  • Supporting mobility and daily routines
  • Bed making and maintaining a comfortable living environment
  • Providing companionship and engaging clients with activities
  • Administering medication where applicable and contributing to record keeping

Key Requirements

  • Have 2 suitable references
  • Be caring and friendly
  • Have a valid driving licence and vehicle
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Have a good standard of verbal and written English (or be prepared to improve English skills)

Key Qualifications

  • 2 references, driving licence and vehicle (where applicable)
  • NISCC and NMC details if applicable
