Role Purpose
Anned Developments Ltd is seeking a disciplined and reliable Multi‑Skilled Tradesperson, preferably with a British Armed Forces background. The role involves carrying out a wide range of construction, refurbishment, maintenance and project works across commercial, industrial, public sector and defence‑related environments. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic, adaptability, leadership potential and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake multi‑trade construction and maintenance activities including carpentry, drylining, decorating, minor plumbing, flooring, and general building works.
- Support refurbishment, fit‑out and planned maintenance projects.
- Read and work from drawings, specifications and work instructions.
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.
- Assist with site set‑up, welfare arrangements and housekeeping.
- Complete inspections, records and digital reporting requirements.
- Support apprentices and junior operatives where required.
- Represent the company professionally when working on client premises.
Essential Requirements
- Level 1 City & Guilds Diploma in Construction Skills (Building Heroes course or equivalent)
- Previous experience in construction, maintenance or property refurbishment.
- Forces veteran or service leaver background desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Desirable Qualifications
- CSCS Card.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a construction trade.
- First Aid at Work.
- PASMA, IPAF or similar access qualifications.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (where required).
