Anne Corder Recruitment is recruiting for a Warehouse Stock Controller to join an established business on a permanent night shift. This is a hands-on warehouse role where you’ll take responsibility for maintaining accurate stock records, carrying out regular inventory checks and ensuring stock information is correctly recorded on the system.
The role will include:
- Carrying out daily stock counts and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Investigating and reconciling stock discrepancies
- Updating stock information on the warehouse/inventory system
- Carrying out basic checks on stock quality
- Working closely with the wider warehouse team to maintain accurate stock levels
- Supporting with picking and general warehouse duties when required
- Following health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised working environment
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience within stock control, inventory, warehouse administration or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Good organisational skills
- Confident using computerised systems
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or inventory management software would be advantageous
- A reliable, hands-on approach and willingness to support the wider warehouse operation
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
This would suit someone with previous warehouse experience who particularly enjoys the stock, inventory and accuracy side of the operation and is comfortable working permanent night shifts.
