Key Responsibilities:- Lead, develop and motivate a team of engineers and contractors to deliver safe, reliable performance.
- Oversee all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
- Implement and manage preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance strategies to minimise downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement and equipment reliability through data, KPIs and root cause analysis.
- Manage budgets, projects and contractors to deliver cost-effective results.
- Time-served apprenticeship and strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Solid understanding of planned and preventative maintenance systems.
- Track record of improving OEE, reliability and reducing unplanned downtime.
- Confident communicator with strong leadership, problem-solving and organisational skills.
