In this role, you will support and drive Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) compliance and a strong safety culture within a growing manufacturing business, working closely with site teams and management. You will input into risk assessments, training, incident investigations, and day-to-day administration of the health & safety management system.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and promote compliance with UK health, safety and environmental legislation
- Assist in developing and maintaining effective health & safety systems and procedures
- Carry out risk assessments, inspections and audits to identify and reduce workplace risks
- Support safety training, incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively with managers and employees to promote a positive safety culture
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and risk management principles (Ideally have NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications)
- Ability to carry out and support risk assessments, audits and inspections
- Clear verbal and written communication skills to engage with all levels of staff
- Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational and IT skills, with confidence using systems and Microsoft 365 tools
- Full right to work in the UK
