Are you an experienced Health and Safety Advisor looking for a hands-on role where you can support a growing manufacturing business and help drive a positive safety culture across the site?
This role would suit someone with previous experience working within a full-time HSE environment who is looking to further develop their skills across health, safety and environmental management within a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will initially be based at the Stamford facility, working closely with the onsite H&S Specialist to support compliance, improve systems and promote best practice across production and support teams.
As a Health and Safety Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the business in meeting UK health, safety and environmental regulations
- Creating and completing risk assessments, safe systems of work, audits and inspections
- Delivering safety training including inductions, manual handling, COSHH, working at height, LOTO and fire awareness
- Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Supporting HSE meetings, toolbox talks, safety documentation and management system administration
As a Health and Safety Advisor you will need:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification such as IOSH, NVQ or NCRQ
- Previous experience supporting health and safety activity within a workplace environment
- Experience completing or supporting risk assessments
- A full and valid UK driving licence
