As a Hardware Support Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring industry-leading EPoS systems are built, tested and prepared to the highest standards before reaching customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, configure and thoroughly test touchscreen EPoS systems, tills and peripherals ready for customer installation.
- Prepare equipment including scanner configuration, disk imaging and hotkey setup to ensure systems are installation-ready.
- Manage hardware stock, including allocating serial numbers, completing stock checks and reporting shortages.
- Diagnose, repair and test returned or faulty equipment wherever possible, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Work closely with installation engineers and customer support teams to ensure equipment is delivered accurately and on schedule.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience working with computer hardware, EPoS systems or a similar technical/build environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Full clean UK driving licence is essential.
