ACR are working with a highly respected engineering and manufacturing organisation to recruit an experienced Stores Supervisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and playing a key role in ensuring materials, components and stock are managed effectively. The successful Stores Supervisor will support production operations, lead a small team, drive improvements and ensure excellent standards across inventory control, goods in and dispatch processes.

Stores Supervisor’s Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the Stores function, overseeing the receipt, storage, issue and movement of materials, components and tooling.
  • Maintain accurate stock records, material traceability and inventory control using stock management systems.
  • Manage goods inwards and dispatch processes, ensuring deliveries are checked, processed and handled correctly.
  • Conduct regular stock checks, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Coordinate replenishment requirements with purchasing teams to ensure materials are available when needed.

Skills & Experience Required as a Stores Supervisor:

  • Previous experience within a Stores, Warehouse, Logistics or Inventory Control environment.
  • Strong understanding of stock control procedures, traceability and material management.
  • Experience supervising or supporting a team would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across departments.
  • Forklift Truck Licence would be desirable (training available if required).
