We're recruiting for a Plant Operative to join a growing renewable energy operation, supporting the safe and efficient running of a modern processing facility. Plant Operative Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day operation of the processing plant, ensuring maximum efficiency and uptime.
- Carry out routine inspections, preventative maintenance and basic repairs on plant equipment.
- Monitor plant performance using control systems and respond to operational issues or alarms.
- Assist with material handling, loading activities and process monitoring.
- Complete operational records, inspections and reports while maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Skills & Experience Required as a Plant Operative:
- Previous experience within a plant, production, agricultural, industrial, manufacturing or maintenance environment.
- Mechanical or electrical knowledge would be highly advantageous.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
- Good IT skills and the ability to interpret operational data.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, including participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
