Senior Brand Manager Are you an experienced FMCG Brand Manager ready to take genuine end-to-end ownership of a brand?We're recruiting for an exciting Senior Brand Manager opportunity within a fast-paced consumer goods business, offering the chance to shape brand strategy while remaining close to the commercial performance and day-to-day delivery.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll take responsibility for developing and delivering the 12–24 month brand plan, balancing long-term brand growth with shorter-term commercial priorities.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Category, Finance, NPD, Technical, Supply Chain and Operations, alongside a range of external agency partners.
- Your responsibilities will include but not limited to
- Developing and delivering the annual and longer-term brand strategy and plan
- Owning brand performance against revenue, profit and budget objectives
- Monitoring brand health and identifying commercial risks and growth opportunities
- Using consumer, shopper, category, customer and sales insight to drive decision-making
- Shaping the innovation, renovation and portfolio pipeline
- Leading NPD and brand projects from initial brief through to launch and evaluation
- Acting as guardian of brand positioning, proposition, identity and tone of voice
- Developing integrated campaigns across paid, owned, earned, shopper and customer channels
- Working closely with Sales and Category to identify distribution, range, pricing, promotional and activation opportunities
- Creating compelling brand and customer presentations
- Managing creative, design, media, digital, PR, research and shopper agency relationships
- Taking accountability for brand and A&P budgets, ensuring investment delivers maximum impact
- Leading cross-functional projects and keeping stakeholders aligned
- Supporting and coaching more junior members of the wider marketing team
About You
We're looking for an established FMCG marketer who combines strong brand thinking with genuine commercial awareness.
Ideally, you'll bring
- Around 5+ years' experience within FMCG brand or commercial marketing
- Food, drink or another fast-moving consumer category background
- Experience developing and delivering annual brand plans
- Strong commercial understanding, including P&L, budgets and forecasting
- Experience interpreting consumer, shopper, category and sales data
- A track record within innovation, renovation, packaging or proposition development
- Experience managing external creative and marketing agencies
- Confidence working alongside Sales and Category teams
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
- The ability to move comfortably between strategy and hands-on delivery
