I'm proud to be recruiting an experienced Payroll and Pensions Manager to lead and manage the payroll function for a well-established and popular organisation within the Peterborough area. This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely and compliant payment of salaries and pensions for all staff, while acting as a subject-matter expert on payroll legislation and best practice.

The Payroll and Pensions Manager role will include:

  • Overseeing the end-to-end payroll operation for my client and its subsidiary company, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements, financial regulations and employment legislation.
  • Working closely with Finance, HR, external agencies and senior leaders to provide detailed payroll analysis, forecasts and reporting to support effective financial planning and decision-making.
  • Full responsibility for pensions administration across different schemes, auto-enrolment compliance, statutory reporting to HMRC, and maintaining exceptional standards of customer service for staff payroll and pension queries.

About you: You must have strong knowledge of running high volume payrolls and dealing with pension queries. Ideally, you will also have a CIPP Payroll qualification (level 4) or be working towards this.
