Are you a creative and commercially minded Marketing Executive looking for an exciting opportunity within the Automotive sector? Our client is a fast-growing, customer-focused automotive business with multiple sites across the UK and an impressive portfolio of premium and internationally recognised brands. They are now looking to recruit a Marketing Executive to join their team based in Peterborough. This is a varied and hands-on role offering the opportunity to work across digital marketing, social media, content creation, events, PR, advertising and brand campaigns. You will play a key role in driving brand awareness, customer engagement and lead generation across multiple platforms.

The Role

As Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering engaging marketing campaigns across the business. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, external agencies and senior leadership to ensure marketing activity is creative, consistent and commercially effective. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing social media platforms and creating engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and other channels.
  • Planning and scheduling monthly marketing campaigns, advertising activity and PR content.
  • Producing creative marketing materials for both digital and print campaigns including email marketing, graphics, promotional materials and event collateral.
  • Supporting the delivery of brand campaigns, product launches and promotional activity.
  • Assisting with video and photography content creation for social and digital channels.
  • Managing customer databases and supporting targeted marketing campaigns through EDM and SMS activity.
  • Monitoring campaign performance using analytics tools including Meta Business Suite, Google Ads and website analytics platforms.
  • Reviewing competitor activity and market trends to support future marketing strategies.
  • Supporting events, partnerships and sponsorship opportunities to increase brand exposure and audience growth.
  • Working alongside external PR agencies and media partners to maximise brand visibility and coverage.
  • Assisting with advertising schedules and ensuring campaigns remain within budget.
  • Supporting community engagement and ensuring timely responses to social media interactions and customer queries.

About You

The successful candidate will be a proactive and creative marketing professional with strong digital marketing and content creation skills. You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience within a Marketing Executive, Digital Marketing or Content-focused role.
  • Strong social media management and content creation experience.
  • Experience using Meta Business Suite, Google Ads or analytics platforms.
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
  • Graphic design and creative content experience.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to analyse campaign performance and make recommendations.
  • A passion for the automotive industry would be highly advantageous.
