Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for numbers and a love of tidy ledgers? We’re on the lookout for a friendly and proactive Finance Assistant to join our clients team!
In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our clients finances running smoothly – supporting the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accuracy across all things purchase ledger, reconciliations, and Sage 50.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing the purchase ledger from start to finish – processing invoices, handling queries, and ensuring timely payments
- Performing regular bank reconciliations, making sure everything balances just right
- Using Sage 50 to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assisting with month-end processes and supporting the wider finance team when needed
- Building great relationships with suppliers and internal teams
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role
- Confident working with Sage 50
- Solid understanding of purchase ledger processes
- Experience with bank reconciliations
- Great attention to detail and a methodical approach
- A team player with a can-do attitude
- Due to the remote location of our client you would need your own transport
