About the Role

We are looking for a National Transport Planner to join our Peterborough based client to organise and manage daily transport operations, ensuring efficient delivery of products to businesses across the UK. You’ll use the Paragon scheduling system to plan routes for pallet and bulk haulage, while coordinating with third-party hauliers and internal teams to optimise resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and organise transport.
  • Manage driver and vehicle resources alongside local transport managers.
  • Collaborate with customer services to balance delivery volumes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and legal requirements.
  • Monitor KPIs, track vehicle efficiency, and provide performance feedback.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
