Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

In this role, you will support and drive Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) compliance and a strong safety culture within a growing manufacturing business, working closely with site teams and management. You will input into risk assessments, training, incident investigations, and day-to-day administration of the health & safety management system.

Health & Safety Advisor’s Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and promote compliance with UK health, safety and environmental legislation
  • Assist in developing and maintaining effective health & safety systems and procedures
  • Carry out risk assessments, inspections and audits to identify and reduce workplace risks
  • Support safety training, incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with managers and employees to promote a positive safety culture
Skills & Experience Required as a Health & Safety Advisor:
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and risk management principles (Ideally have NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications)
  • Ability to carry out and support risk assessments, audits and inspections
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills to engage with all levels of staff
  • Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organisational and IT skills, with confidence using systems and Microsoft 365 tools
  • Full right to work in the UK
