I'm working with a successful global business to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-week contract. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing accurate financial reports and management information
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
  • Completing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  • Supporting internal and external audits
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements across the finance function
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the business

About You:

  • Previous experience in a Financial Accountant role
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems

Desirable:

  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics
  • Part or fully qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or qualified by experience
