Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week
Pay: up to £21/hour depending on experience, OTE £60,000 to £65,000+
We’re working with a leading Agricultural Equipment business who have been trading for over 90 years. Due to continued growth the business are now looking for an Agricultural Service Engineer to join their team in a part depot, part field-based role offering variety, autonomy and genuine career progression.
What You’ll Be Doing as an Agricultural Service Engineer:
- Repair and maintain agricultural machinery including tractors, sprayers and other leading agricultural equipment
- Diagnose and repair machinery faults, ensuring equipment operates safely and to manufacturer specification
- Travel to customers across the surrounding area from your depot to service and repair machinery
- Keep accurate service records and complete job information to a high standard
- Demonstrate and install machinery where required
- Work closely with service and workshop managers to meet customer expectations and challenging timelines
What We’re Looking for in an Agricultural Service Engineer:
- Level 3 qualification in Land Based Engineering, or an equivalent background in HGV, plant, construction or similar engineering environments
- Experience working with agricultural machinery, or strong transferable experience from plant, HGV, automotive or construction equipment
- Confident fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach
- Able to communicate clearly with a wide range of customers, colleagues and managers
- Willing to undertake further training and specific manufacturer training to continue developing your skillset
- Flexible approach to overtime during peak farming and agricultural seasons
- Full UK driving licence
