We are currently recruiting for an organised and proactive Administration & Logistics Administrator to join a busy and friendly team. This is a varied position combining general administration with supporting the day-to-day coordination of drivers and logistics. Initially offered on a temporary basis, there is the opportunity for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role of Administration & Logistics Administrator

  • Supporting with the scheduling and coordination of drivers
  • Dealing with driver queries and providing day-to-day support
  • Completing general administration across the department
  • Updating schedules, records and internal systems
  • Liaising with drivers and internal teams to ensure information is communicated effectively
  • Responding to queries and resolving administrative issues
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Supporting the wider team with additional administrative duties as required

About You

  • Has previous administration experience
  • Is organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Is confident communicating with different people, including drivers
  • Can manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Is comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Has good IT skills and is confident using Microsoft Office

Previous experience within transport scheduling would be advantageous but is not essential.

Hours & Working Arrangements

There is flexibility around working hours, with the option to work:

  • 7:30am – 4:30pm
  • 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • 8:30am – 5:30pm

All options include a one-hour unpaid lunch break. The role is initially office based, with the opportunity to work one day per week from home following successful completion of probation.
