I am delighted to be partnering exclusively with a fantastic UK owned leading manufacturing business in Wisbech to recruit for a new Accounts Assistant.
This business is proud to now offer a four day week and really invests in it\’s employees, with this new role becoming available due to an internal promotion.
The role

As Accounts Assistant your role will be to assist the Finance Manager in ensuring the correct and timely operation of financial ledgers.
Other duties will include

  • Assisting with VAT returns and month end reconciliations.
  • Handling accruals, prepayments, journals
  • Maintenance of the fixed asset register.

The ideal person

You\’ll need to be self motivated with a high attention to detail and very collaborative. Ideally you\’ll be AAT qualified or working towards this qualification and have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a finance related role.
