About the Opportunity

Annapurna is partnering with a leading global financial services organisation that is investing heavily in its HR technology landscape. With a large international workforce and a strong focus on colleague experience, our client is transforming how HR services are delivered through platforms including Workday and ServiceNow. As a Workday Specialist (VP level), you will play a key role in shaping and delivering HR technology solutions across the organisation. Working closely with HR and technology stakeholders, you will help define the roadmap for Workday, drive platform enhancements, and support the delivery of strategic transformation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to influence technology direction, work with senior stakeholders, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of a complex global Workday environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Workday solutions across Core HR and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Partner with HR leaders, product owners, and technology teams to define requirements and deliver business-focused solutions.
  • Drive the adoption and optimisation of Workday and supporting HR platforms.
  • Deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality technology solutions aligned to business objectives.
  • Ensure strong governance, risk management, testing, and control practices across all deliveries.
  • Support and mentor colleagues while promoting a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across HR, technology, and business functions to drive successful outcomes.

Required Experience

  • Strong experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of Workday Core HCM and Core HR business processes.
  • Experience delivering Workday-related change, training, and adoption initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of employee lifecycle processes within Workday.
  • Experience supporting talent management and talent development processes.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across both business and technology teams.

Desirable Experience

  • Workday certifications or accreditations.
  • Workday Pro accreditation.
  • Experience working within large, complex, regulated organisations.
  • Exposure to agile delivery models and HR transformation programmes.
